How to Adjust Cuff Bracelets

Himalayan Gems' cuff bracelets are adjustable. We recommend that you do the following adjustment when you 1st receive your cuff and try to avoid major adjustments thereafter. We suggest this so you can avoid stressing the silver or the stone settings. Adjusted properly your cuff should give you a lifetime of enjoyment!

The 1st image shows how NOT to adjust your cuff. Do not put the bracelet on your wrist and squeeze it. Squeezing the cuff puts all of the stress on the center of the bracelet and can weaken it. By using the method shown in the 2nd image you can adjust it so you don’t make it an odd shape or damage it. If you bend an area of your bracelet where there is a stone or inlay, you might pop out the stone or crack the silver

How to Adjust Your Cuff Bracelet:

Place the cuff in your palm with the center stone facing down. Bring your fingers down to hold the back of the cuff firmly. Use your thumb and 1st finger to gently bend the arms of the bracelet and make your adjustment by bending this portion of the bracelet. Bend gently and adjust a little each time. Do the same on the other side.

Please note that most Himalayan Gems' cuffs are adjustable. However some cuffs are not adjustable: those with stones or inlay on the arms of the cuff and also some cuffs that are made of very heavy silver and cannot be bent.

Next week we'll be posting about how to take your cuff on and off!
